Kertas Tjiwi Kimia, located in Mojokerto -- about an hour
drive from Juanda international airport in Surabaya, East Java,
is the biggest paper producer of copy paper, general paper and notebooks
in Indonesia.
The 300T/H coal/oil
fired boiler provides power at 70MW and process steam 120T/H required
for the production expansion, which would have resulted in a great
costs saving and a more reliable power supply.
FHI, as a turn-key contractor
and a whole-plant exporter, had overcome all difficulties and completed
the project on schedule, making this overseas turnkey project
a total success. -- The TK-3 cogeneration plant started commercial
operation in January, 1997.
