¡@¡@Located in Chang-Hua city, FCFC Chang-Hua Plant produces Nylon
fiber, Rayon fiber, textiles and detergents... etc. Although there're
already a few existing cogeneration plants, this 350 T/H coal fired
boiler unit was installed to met the increasing demand of steam
and power due to the expansion of the process plants; meanwhile,
this new unit would improve the power quality and operation flexibility.
The new cogeneration plant adds additional power capacity at 82,650KW
and process steam at 127T/H to the existing system, and sells the
extra power to Taiwan Power corporation at favorable prices
according to the rules of the Cogeneration Regulation.
FHI took responsibilities for the main work of this 350 T/H Boiler
unit, including the basic / detailed design, steel structure, pressure
parts, coal pulverizer with gear unit... etc., and also led a team
to conduct the commissioning. They completed test-run in March,
1996 and started commercial running in May in the same year.
