In addition that Formosa Heavy Industries Corporation has acquired industrial and utility-grade boiler technologies from internationally well-known boiler manufacturers, BHI FW (Formor AMEC Foster Wheeler) and GE. In 1999, Formosa Heavy Industries Corporation was successfully transferred the developed and environment-friendly technologies of circulating fluidized bed boiler from GE by executing a long-term license agreement. With possession of such most integrated and mature boiler technologies in design and manufacture, plus inheriting Formosa Plastics Group’ years of experiences in planning, constructing and operating co-generation plants, Formosa Heavy Industries Corporation has become the first EPC services company in Taiwan capable of providing services including planning, designing, manufacturing, construction, commissioning and operation of a whole cogeneration plant or an IPP plant for either domestic or oversea customers.
